Amy Harris

Amy is an illustrative artist raised on the artwork of the Pre-Raphaelites and comic books, and delights in the macabre and unusual, from taxidermy to alternate histories.

Working mostly in pen and ink, her work explores themes of folk-tales, the alternative subculture and fitting into your own skin. She has a lifelong love for the work of Aubrey Beardsley and Charles Ricketts and dreams of finishing work on her first graphic novel.

Amy is a student of History of Art at York University, where her studies continue to influence and inspire her drawings.
